Old Rustic Victorian Painted Pine & Metal Blanket Toy Wooden Box 1'6"H 2'9" W

Lovely Old Rustic Blanket Box
Was originally dark stained but has been re painted several times sage green and white
Now giving it that wonderful rustic shabby chic look with all the colours showing through
Original metal drop box handles which again have been painted with the slightly worn Rusty look
3 Original Metal Corner Plates on each corners
Squared trim around base
Inside we have a lovely deep space with a extra compartment
I would imagine it was used a tool chest years ago but could be used as storage
2 plank lid with rounded edge ,original old brown leather brackets ,metal lock and fasteners
Possibly Could be stripped please check first

Good points: It's well made,It is a lovely old item,Nice and solid,Good item to be painted,Has some character,Hand painted
Also: Some old marks or scratches,Has some minor damage,has some old nail or screw holes,and also has a bit of old woodworm damage that has been treated,it could do with a rub down,perhaps a thorough clean,some rust
